Forever

A dream I had one to many times...

I watched myself for so long,

fall apart.

Again and again I would cry myself to sleep-

No one was there for me.

And one day, there he was,

like a shining star in a middle of a dark, wet cave;

Waiting for me.

As if it was the most natural thing in the world,

he took my hand, and I smiled up at him.

He smiled in return, and for the first time in a long time;

I could breathe.

He wrapped his arms around me, and pulled me close.

Then, gently whispered-

"I wish this could last forever."

And I woke up.
