Nightmare

Nightmare

A Poem by Limitality
"

I bought a Nightmare before Christmas shirt, so I felt the need to write. >:]

"

Repetitive screams,

agonizing dreams.

You know when your running, but your too slow to go?

Well, it's happening.

And everything I have ever feared, is catching up,

and I cry so loud, yet no one saves me.

So what, there is not hero for me?

I'm sweating a river, and panting in the poluted air.

Next thing I know, I'm trapped in a box;

So heres to the darkside that has swallow'd me,

and I can't seem to get the wallow out of me.

I try to scream, but no one is hearing me.

So I close my eyes tight, and hope someone will rescue me.

Everything goes quiet, and I peak out of my eye,

and right infront of me, is a man made of bugs.

A malicious laugh I will soon never forget-

Tormented by my minor fears;

the worst has yet to appear.

A mockery,

a scoffery,

save me from my own hell.

I'm burning eternally,

and no one can awake me from this terrible nightmare.

Yes, it was a folly of me,

because now I know why-

Yes I, well- I, commited suicide.

That was amazing. I love how you were able to take Nightmare before Christmas and add your own personification, and personalizing to the poem especially at the last part with the man made of bugs!
