In This Land

In This Land

A Poem by Limitality
"

...

"

"Don't touch her!"

My hearts pumping,

my minds thumping.

Twisted screams,

haunting my dreams.

Too many tears,

my brothers fears.

I'm to busy to deal with them,

I'm worried of my brother, will he be the next Mike Myers?!

I can hear her sob, and see the sorrow in her eyes,

to think of hope will not suffice.

She's silly to love him,

her life will be short and dim.

One day it will be too much,

and I cannot bare to watch.

Will this horrid fighting, ever end?

Will we be okay, again?

I can see the pain, so I don't fight back,

when she gets angry, and gives me a whack.

I'll take the pain,

because somehow she will gain.

Her sorrow turns to bitterness, but if she raised her voice to my brother,

she would surely suffer.

He will teach her a lesson, even if my brother desereved it.

All I can do is cry in the night,

while I hear them fight.

I'll repress the horrid screams,

and pretend to dream good dreams.

But one thing for sure is,

theres no love in this land.
