Demons

Demons

A Poem by Limitality
"

demons screaming in my head

"
demons screaming in my head,
every time I lay down for bed.
They fight against my ambitions,
looking for permission,
for engulfing my soul.
These monsters have taken their toll,
alone in my room,
screaming for a savior,
I am caving.
The morning light starts to rise,
and to my surprise;
I am able to breathe.
They are gone, until darkness falls again.

Really enjoyed reading this piece, I liked how you kept it short yet your poem spoke volumes at the same time, the rhythm scheme made the poem a delight to read.

We all have our demons in life, be it in reality or in our minds. There's always a voice demanding to be heard. A constant voice trying to break us. The mind is such a deadly thing...such beauty in your words!

WOW! This sounds like something I would write; something I would feel. Grammar and spelling errors are nothing to worry about. The feeling and the story behind the piece is all that matters. Very well written.
