The Wake of Destruction

The Wake of Destruction

A Poem by Limitality
"

I never thought it would hurt so much as they said

"

I never thought it would hurt so much as they said,

but it does, and I cannot stand the pain,

it is unbearable,

ridiculous amount of endless darkness fogging my way.

Like the burning of a cigarette constant on your skin,

like the blade to your arm again and again,

a raging, nagging feeling to your heart.

You have demolished me.

I am no more than an empty shell of all that I was,

and I guess this is what I must walk around as.

If I could turn back the time,

Just go back for three minutes, dear.

I would change our paths forever,

and cause this path of destruction to end.

We would never meet, never suffer,

peaceful.

We would live our own separate lives.

However, is it fate that had brought us together?

It is a constant war, this thought that boils in my mind.

We are not who we are,

we lay in the wake of destruction my darling.

Brilliant! You're quite good at writing and I think, this poem's one of my favourites, no matter what. I've always believed that the stuff having depth of words and the composition of emotions is all what seemed helpful to conquer the kind hearts. And, such feelings've come on my mind when I spent my time with this marvelous poem. You dig it! Every word you chosen to paste with the write is reflecting the moisten sensations of faith to this wide universe along the warmth of your choice of talent. Keep it up the excellent work!
