Twin Fires of Desire

Twin Fires of Desire

A Poem by LilyGrace

Your caressing fingers burn me;
Singe me with desire
As your beautiful eyes look through me;
Death by love by fire.

Every moment spent without you
Is torturous like hell's burning flames.
And every moment I'm with you
Is joyous like sun after rain.

You are all I want and all I need
In you I find salvation
From the shackles of misery in this life we lead,
And from loneliness, liberation.

Could you call it TWO FIRES or some such, as you have the desired fire of the touch and the undesirable fire of absence? I like the idea of you in the middle of the fires...not personally but in the poem. Either way we all get burnt, but there seems a real truth in that.
