He Isn't You

He Isn't You

A Poem by k.s.

You press your body against me,

I squeeze my eyes shut.

Reminding myself

It’s you ontop of me

Not him.

Reminding myself

Those are your hands prying me open,

Not his.

I want it to stop.

But just like last time

My voice has vanished.

I want to push you off,

Tell you to stop,

I want to tell you I’m not ready

But his hands have

Clamped my mouth shut

And the words I want

To say suffocate

Inside me.
