Clay

Clay

A Poem by k.s.

You mold me
and shape me
into this beautiful,
flawless artifact
for everyone to see.
Next, you break me,
shatter me,
into these tiny
pieces
of desire and fear.
Maybe, just maybe,
you feel sorry
and you soak me
in your tears.
You rebuild me
smoothing out the cracks
and putting my peices
together, like an
eccentric puzzle set.
You've broken
and built me
all at once.

I like the imagery of this poem. Very well thought out. I think you meant "pieces" though.
Keep writing!

this is beautifully written, great job

If I were cynical, I would interpret your metaphorical word structure as discribing a control freak - they break and remodel their victims - taking care the outside world does not see the hurt. Fascinating read - well written... :-)
