Wildflower

Wildflower

A Poem by k.s.

She’s a wildflower,

As warm as the sun

On your skin.

A raging

Storm.

She’s a gust of wind

You can’t forget.

She let’s you know that you’re

Alive.

Wildflower, wild child.

She’s the punch

That takes

Every breath away.

She’s the beauty

Of death.

That you forget to appreciate.

The sea you get lost in

But never want to be found.

She’s the space you stare into

When your thoughts

Become you.

She’s a wildflower.

But all beautiful things die in the end.

And death will come knocking

For the ones

You love.

Thank you so much!
These lines reminded me of one of my favourite shakespeare's sonnets. Shall I compare thee to a summer's day? You are really talented and were able to draw images in my mind.
Keep it up xx
