Modern day art from a yesterday's past

Modern day art from a yesterday's past

A Poem by Rob

see we are all just pieces of art
placed in a world full of judges
Evaluated based on our past
As if the tears in our stories couldn't be patched
They don't see the contents of our heart
Because we were the outcast to modern art
We were the thought of what could be
Being a thought on paper
then crumbled and trashed
cleaning away the tears
as if they were smudges
On a piece of art
that was placed behind a glass
framed for the whole world to see
they think it's comical
to judge one of his history
breaking down our smiles
as if they might actually last
So you see we are all just pieces of modern Art
judged from the history of our past
