I hope you understand

A depressing poem about a man who's reading another mans last words, come to find out it's actually his own

As I’m bored and deciding to read this paper from this guy I once knew
It says…
​Hes all alone
The wet tears begin to roll and slide
In a dark room where he can hide
They begin to pour more rapidly
Down the face of a lost soul
Whose emotions are out of control
​The tears begin to form a huge dark spot on his pillow case
He s come to the conclusion
he’s a failure and
It something he is to embrace,
He’s tired of making the same mistake
​So he tightens the long belt around his scrawny neck
And tells his mind he wants to forget,
closes his eyes and tells his mind to erase it
​Heart now racing
Comes down to two choices he’s facing
No going back, no retracing
Keep living in this cruel world
Or be set free from every guilt that’s eating him alive
​Moments later…
His body is found suspended above the ground
Just swaying back and forth, not making a sound
​He’s decided to be free
The problems in his life we couldn’t see
In his mind that’s just how it had to be
​These are words I read as I stand
In front of a broken mirror with a belt in my hand
I’m finished reading it
And looked for the signature
At the bottom right hand
It has my name on it
