I'm sorry.

I'm sorry.

A Poem by Kayo
"

This is about a friend of mine...

"

I'm sorry for the things I've done,

For the mistakes that I've made.

Sorry I'm not the perfect one,

And I'm sorry if you feel betrayed.

I tried for you, I really did,

But it just wasn't enough.

I tried for you and god forbid,

The walls I built, I hoped were tough.

But you broke them down to my dismay,

A flick, and they were gone.

And now my skies are grey.

Look, I'm sorry, I really am,

What will make you understand?

I made mistakes, I didn't do things right,

And because of that, we always fight.

Why can't you just let this go?

I told you I love you, you know you're my best friend,

How else can I let you know?

I guess it isn't happy, in the end.

I'm writing this about you, and you'll never see it,

Because if I send it to you, you'll see my name and just delete it.

Why won't you listen? Let me get my story out?

Yes, you have many reasons to doubt,

But I've changed, I swear I've changed,

But it's no use. You still think I'm deranged.

I've lost you forever now, haven't I?

We'll never talk again.

Well then, I guess this is goodbye.

But... you'll always be my best friend.
