Dance in the Rain

Dance in the Rain

A Poem by Meradee

We see the rain,

And hide away.

Cowards,

afraid of a little precipitation.

The thunder and lighting,

Too daunting for us.

We fail to remember,

That rain brings good things.

It puts the green in the grass,

the color in the flowers.

So when I see the rain,

I dance with joy.

"We see the rain,
And hide away."

We stay inside where we feel protected.

"So when I see the rain,
I dance with joy."

I do as well, I'll run outside and get my hair wet. It's nice to feel the rain and let it wash all over me.
