Ode to Socks

Ode to Socks

A Poem by Meradee
"

It's silly, but we all feel this way sometimes...

"

Where art thou oh sock of mine?

I washed you and then put you in the dryer,

Where are you now?

I search and search,

Yet you are no where to be found.

I see your match sitting there,

On the table,

But where are you?

I need you,

For I will be in mourning,

For the rest of my life,

If I do not find you.

My room is kind of small, so it's hard to lose socks. However, I lost other stuff and I know the unique pain!

This put a much needed smile on my face. Now, how many times has that happened to me?! They just seem to go astray sometimes, never to be found again!! Nicely done.

lol sounds like how i felt when i couldn't find the other foot of my favorite kneehigh, colorful socks. gaw! I shiver from the bitter nostalgia...shiver I say. I loved it..very humoeous. Got a kick out of it...wonder if hat was a pun....hmm...

ha very cute. the great sock caper! Who is this smooth criminal that creeps in the night and swipes our comfy toe covers right under our unsuspecting noses? this is surely a conspiracy with sock companies and the dryer factories! I say no more! To the picket lines!

thanks for the smile :)
