BlissA Poem by Ceri Sian LockDrifting backwards, Counting days by abacus. Calculating, Contemplating time it would take to cure this virus. Anticipating the tragic fall, But the snare was obscured, Deliverance assured. Destination ephemeral, Unknown, The bird clutched the keys and she's flown, To another dimension, Where apprehension gets no mention. A quantum leap, Loss of sleep to the addictive beat, Of an animated breath that doesn't repeat. Not stuck in a loop, Or going through hoops, It's the sound of a soul devoid of dispute. Abbreviated version of living defined suffocation. Clarity of realisation, Blinding clouds lifted without medication. Life, Light, Expanding, Detoxification. Effortlessly sprinkled with consciousness. Simultaneously, blissfully delirious. C.Siân
