TransitionsA Poem by Ceri Sian LockThis poem was inspired by Seoul during the evening and night time. Embrace change.Try to catch me, The drop is inescapable. Unless you've found your wings Do you understand you're capable? Of stretching out, To claim your infinity. Closer than you've seen, Your perception, Overwhelmed by obsession. Shaken by outside perspectives. Focusing on unecessary objectives. Beyond fearful speculations, Oblivious to intimidation. Killing control and regulations. Switching, changing, transformations. Lucid dream? Hallucination? or realised imagination? Silouhettes moving through glowing fire. Don't think about it, Darling, make it happen, Your desire. Liquid sunset sinks behind a labyrinth city, No scene from a nightmare. A network of illuminations, So pretty. Slowed down, broken down, Deciphered mazes, Pointless to drown, Ourselves in confusion. Counterfeit reality, Born from dillusion. Simple, crystal vision. Flashes of light, Calm diffusing through the night. Layers fall away, Beautiful transition. Sweet twi-lit visions to moonlit depictions, Of stories untold, From shadows unfold, Silence way above streets is gold. Soulful air rising up through the skyline, This rush, Intoxicating high, All mine. Judgements dissolve into atmosphere. Amplified, alive. It seems so obvious now. We were meant to live, Not survive.
