Politics.

Politics.

A Poem by Lilith
"

My take on politics, highly offensive and this is not really a poem, just random thoughts.

"

He walks, talks, stalks

His words, smooth as silk

His tongue, is that of the serpent, the devil himself

His prey, caught in his eye, just as the apple from the garden

Beware, that twinkle in his eye, the heaviness of his breath

Each lie, carried out with pure conviction

Careful of his web of deceit, for you will tangle and strangle yourself on false hope

Very correct interpretation of politicians. And that's coming from a semi-politician. Politics itself is a deceitful game played by snakes and serpents as you have said. You have also done well to mention in the last line how being caught in politics seldom allows that said person to escape. Politicians are seldom ever in the business to be honest. Well done.
