NegativityA Poem by Lilibeth A.KThis acrostic poem describes the red flags in a dying man's life as the woman he loves snatches his life from him.
Never good enough for you.
Even if I managed to get my act together. Generosity has left me penniless. Accomplishments have set the bar to the heavens. Trying to breathe when your hands are wrapped around my neck. Illuminated only by the light at the end of the tunnel. Very hard to breathe now. I wish I could fight this darkness eating away at my soul. To what extent will this pain extend? Your cold eyes are the last image I see as my life deteriorates before them. The End.
