When Aurora returnsA Poem by LiliasMy way to tell to my future husband how much I care and feel for him.
Helmet left beside the grave,
Your armour silently turns to dust, Rain washing away the dirt of angst, This fearful shield staining your sight. See now that darkness never lasts. Your soul's blindness buried beneath the stone, You watch the night slowly leaving our shore, Allowing my Sun to shine like a sword. Holding your childlike heart into my hand, I rub it softly, until it beats steadily, Breaking walls of solitude you so carefully built, You can now feel the pain fading away freely. You see that dawn slowly returns to our shore, Sweet Aurora tearing the last shadow apart, Her delicate frame illuminates the world That your blue gaze wanted so much to create. © 2010 Lilias |
