Mary's little lamb dinner

Mary's little lamb dinner

A Poem by Charlotte aspin
"

A first draft of an excerpt from my new project CURSORY RHYMES. My take on Mary's little lamb

"
Mary had a little lamb,
She used for shepherds pie
She slit it's throat to watch it bleed,
Then hung it up to dry

It made the children smile and play
The barn was filled with laughter,
When they used the dried lambs corpse
As a homemade sheep piñata

Nicely done, like a short sharp shock. Bright and funny.
