Another World

A free verse poem, if that's what you'd call this poem

In this beautiful, magnificent, amazing other world
There are so many things to see
Including people you’d never usually meet

It’s almost unreal

And situations that are so surreal
Like me acting oh so differently
I’d act like someone I’d never want to be

Doing things I’d never desire to do
Things I’d never put people through

Then when I return
I wonder why that even happened

Honestly, seriously
What was even going on?
I wonder

Ah, another world where we can be someone other than ourselves! But for now that's just a place in our dreams, another fantasy where we are our true selves, saying thing we wouldn't in reality, eating what we were forbidden to eat, who would we be? A whimsical write, thanks for sharing!
