A fictional poem I made, enjoy

I paint a beautiful, magnificent picture that’s not like reality
I say it’s the portrayal of my own world, myself, how I live
I paint it as heaven, mystical when really, I live in living hell
I don’t want them to waste their precious time worrying, though
So I paint a picture of what I am not, what I really wish to be

Sometimes it can be like that, but I have found that there is also something very healing in what you write reflecting reality as you’re experiencing it. Although, for those people who have the talent to write out of things they have not necessarily experienced, it can be hard for a reader sometimes to see past that to what is really going on when maybe they should. I hope you find that world you wish for. Thank you for sharing.
