RunA Story by Laura Lewallennever wonder into the woods at night you never know what might happen
fear coursed through the young woman's exquisite body as she fled the a ravenous beast in the wood behind her quaint cottage. The frigate air was harsh on her delicate skin blistering her face and hands. There was only a few short feet separating her from the safety of her home, she was almost there. She was so close, but still it wasn't close enough as she felt the razor claws of the beast slice her leg. They cut through her flesh as if it were nothing more than a gaunt article of lace. She lost all hope in that moment, she was far too feeble to fight her inevitable demise any longer, and her terrified expression of earlier was replaced with that of one of acceptance. She accepted that this was her end as she lay in her snow covered yard while the creature ripped apart her flesh through her blood soaked sweater
