The pondA Poem by Lila_HalliwellRise and shine it’s fishing time Sunrise calls the worms to hide Cattails tower sleepy eyes Caught in breezes by surprise. Rhythms gurgle tiny hops Drift to where the ripples stop Moments hold fluttered wings Clips of time meant to dream. Dew drenched spiders float and slide Fearless turtles seek and hide Wading in, sloppy muck Rollie pullies bring good luck. Cast the last bait and wait, And wait and wait, and wait… And wait. © 2021 Lila_HalliwellReviews
