Chapter 11 (Conclusion to Part 2)A Chapter by CreepingDeathChapter 11 Polaris never ate breakfast that day. He was worried for the safety of Draven and Aza. Not only was Battery sending assassins after Draven, but if he found out he was a wolfslayer, then he would surely send more after Polaris. While Polaris wondered about what he should do, Draven and The Angel of Death talked in the kitchen. “So, why did you come to see me? It better be important.” Draven asked. The Angel looked up at him. “We will get to that later, but for now, I think you should stop calling me The Angel of Death.” they said. “You can call me Hunter.” he said. Draven was surprised. “To think you gave me your name, something must be important. You swore away your humanity when you got that muzzle ability.” Draven said. He took a bite from his salberry bread. Hunter pulled back his robe, revealing his right arm. Flesh was forming around the bone. “I did indeed swear away my humanity, but it seems as time goes on, it caught up to me. Ever since this started happening, I lost control of my ability.” he said. Draven was surprised at the sight. “What do you mean lost control?” he asked. Hunter let go of the robe. It began to cover his arm again. “I can no longer control when to activate it. Now, whenever I touch someone it decays them, no matter how powerful or weak the contact is.” they explained. “But that is not why I came to you. The reason I came here is that Battery is advancing his army. They’re coming for you, Draven. No more assassins. He’s coming to conquer Baile nan Gaisgeach, Yveskin, Kravero, everything.” they explained. Draven sat in silence before laughing out loud. “You’re joking right? Battery isn’t that stupid.” Draven said. Hunter looked at him seriously. Draven gulped. Before another word could come out of either of there mouths, Polaris ran into the kitchen screaming. “HE’S HERE! RUN! QUICKLY!” he shouted. Before anyone could react, a giant explosion had engulfed the house. Rubble came crashing from the ceiling down onto them. Polaris stared at the situation, completely terrified. He thought with his time reverse, he could save them. He had already tried 11 times. He could do nothing now. Everyone had been crushed by rubble, and it seemed survival was impossible. Everything went dark. How could this happen? Why would Battery suddenly attack like this? No one would know the answer. Not yet, at least. Conclusion to part 2 © 2019 CreepingDeath |
