Where no one has ever ventured ....

There is this place in my heart

A dark place hidden

Where no one has ever dared go into

So far within myself

And so dark

That shadows cannot be seen

But in this place is not despair

Or hopelessness

No its me

Myself

I am there

Hidden away

Why am I there?

Why am I not out showing everyone myself?

Because its the side of me that only one person will ever see

The one place only one has the key for

I have promised myself

No I have sworn and oath

Not to let the world see it

This place

To the outside world its dark

Gloomy

Full of nothing

But for the one who is willing

The one who will fight through the darkness

Fight through what seems like gloom

If you will see it through my heart

You will find an open field with wildflowers

A quiet stream moving through the meadow

A soft summer wind moving through the tall grass

The distant mountains blue with snow still at the very top points

And there in that open place

Full of life

And Beauty

There I am

Waiting

Paitenly

Waiting for some one to know the true me

Who I am

Where I have been

Why

And how

Im patiently waiting

In that place

A 'No Mans Land' as some have called it before

Where no man has dared gone

It is there that I am

It is the very depth

Of my heart

i really like this piece ms solo :) great insight as to how some may never know our true selves unless they take the time to. well epressed. keep up the wonderful writing.
