FriendsA Poem by LilMissJPThis is something I worte for my friend so she will never forget me and how much we have together.I met you in 6th grade I judged you first by your looks Despite my judgement we began to braid A friendship built over text books A friendship full of love and laughter Of sorrow and stupid arguments. And by that summer and the years after, Despite having no written documents, We grew to be more like sisters. We've spent sleepless nights talking forever and hot summer days under the sun getting blisters. All these days and moments I will remember How much I love having you as a friend, And I'll always wonder how we laughed so much. No matter what lies around the bend, I know we'll always keep in touch. Girl I know you're leaving me on short notice, And I know you will make new friends where you're going, but you have to promise. Promise me that you will never forget me For I will never forget you. © 2010 LilMissJPAuthor's Note
