You are loved

You are loved

A Poem by Quaint Lil Lady

You're not a burden. Never an issue.
You've always been admired and missed.
I always seem to speak of you.
Your name always first on my list.

I wish your hate wasn't so vast
I'm trying to show you my anger has subsided.
But you refuse to let go of the past.
Emotional help I wish could have been provided.

It's lonely being quiet for weeks.
But only to protect my psyche.
I know it's the attention that you seek.
But for that at all I have no energy.

It's difficult in my situation
Dealing with threatening ailments.
But loving you is a special occasion.
And soon, my time will be it's entertainment.

I wish you'd see You're not that lonely child anymore.
No longer a burden
Just someone who hasn't breached their mental shore.
So please, consider yourself loved more often.
