Quiet

      Nobody listens to me.

They don't know,

how I really feel.

Sometimes,

I just want to get away...

To get away from life,

friends,

and family,

would be pure bliss.

I struggle everyday

with my tangled up emotions.

I try to keep quiet.

I try not to speak a single word.

For if I did,

they would know everything I felt.

It's not easy,

as everyone says.

Expressing your emotions

is actually really tough.

Days go by...

Months go by...

Now it's been many years.

Nobody knows how I feel,

and they never will.

I just have to stay quiet...

Having a bad day... Sorry about the grammar. :-( Have you felt like if you say how you feel it could hurt someone? Every single time I try to say how I feel it comes out wrong!!! UHHHH! I CAN'T STAND IT! I'm going to count to ten before I rip my hair out...

Whoa there, I found a comrade. Yep, I do too, but I can't keep quiet sometimes. Maybe it's the revolutionary self on me that proudly strikes back to lash at the person who wrongly misjudged me. But yes, sometimes we need to keep quiet and listen to other people's points.
