The Pain Of Life

It happened last saturday

an arguement started it all

we were driving on the highway

when a life began to fall.

He started driving crazy

as his anger took control

he tried to change to the right lane

scaring me was his goal.

As he was changing lanes

he started yelling all these words

then we felt a jerk

and his car began to swerve.

He got back in control

and he started screaming

'oh my god I think I hit somebody!'

I thought that I was dreaming.

We didn't see anything

as we both looked back

but we had to pull over

because I was having a panic attack.

Once I calmed down

we kept on driving

getting to my cousin's baptism

was what I was thriving.

A few hours later

we got a phone call

the police were looking for us

witnesses saw more than what we saw.

Apparently we hit a motorcyclist

who was going in the right lane too

now he's in the hospital

and he might be dieing it's true.

The motorcyclist was 44

young and maybe with a family

and if he dies it'd be because of us

that would be a terrible tragedy.

I hope and I pray

everynight and all day through

that the motorcyclist shall live

and that he would be safe too.

It happened last Saturday

and argument started it all

we were driving on the highway

when a life began to fall.
