The Atheist's Prayer

The Atheist's Prayer

A Poem by so_farso_good

O ingratiating time,
whose decrees generously grant the torturous pangs of reality,
lend me your ears
so that I may sway your speech
and live worthily.

Please, O Atheistic Deity!
Don't allow my prayer to fall upon deaf ears.
I never asked to be born unto thee,
So this at least you owe to me.

Nice piece.
