Real

Real

A Story by Lightfalls
"

Oh this is no good, I just needed to write, that is all. *feels sad today*

"
Tell me it’s worth it.

Or tell me it's not.

But don’t keep me here,
suspended in between
the girl I once was, and the woman I only wish I could be.

Perhaps fantasy may never be real, does this mean all my dreams are false?

Say it to me, break me if you must, but please don’t play with my heart.

Show me what's real, I only wanted to know this.

If there is no hope, would you rather know?  Or live in the comfortable shadows, discovering truth the slow and painful way?

Through broken heart, and shattered life, at the end of a dark road, looking for the light, as it just gets farther away the nearer you move towards it.
Stars and illusions have this much in common.
Which one are you to me?
Please don’t tell me you aren’t real.
Please don’t fade like a falling star.

I only want you, to be real.

Tell me its worth this,
or tell me I'm not worth it at all.

But don't deny me
this knowing.

Suspended in this no man's land,
left here, cut, yet open for another day

Another day, and as the sun comes up again, I see the stars are gone, and the illusions are forgotten
as part of last night's dream.

Please, just kiss me, words aren’t needed now,

Please just love me,

I need to know you are real

I'm not about being tied down and limited with words. Words are just a shadow of life anyways, and only used because they simplify things. Sometimes there are things far, far beyond words, that you .. more..
