SilencedA Poem by LightfallsDivorce from LifeI've watched an old house burning Flames and smoke above the earth Singed and broken beams are left As ash goes back to dirt I've seen no city tumble It's happened though I'm sure They all saw the end coming The signs were there before I watch true love and romance Crumble suddenly to the floor What was once blissful union Split through the darkened core There's something worse then dying; That silence that it brings.
