Vlay's Backstory

    As a child, Vlay was taught swordsmanship by his brother. One day, his brother went missing and Vlay set off to find him. After a near death experience to monsters, Vlay realized he still had much to learn. He traveled from town to town finding information on his brother, but after he found a lead he was denied access to an area that only allowed Magic Soldiers. Knowing his flaws he decided to become a Magic Soldier after learning more. He went around and heard of an academy called Arcadia.
    In Arcadia, he met a strange person called Cilufer. At first Vlay hated him, but after a constant annoyance they became good friends. At the academy Vlay met a teacher whom he liked. He was taught swordsmanship by him and grew to respect him. His level of skill was high enough so that only his teacher was a suitable enough sparring partner. He graduated after he was able to defeat him and decided to travel with Cilufer. Vlay made a trip to his home only to discover that his house had been burned down. His neighbors told him that it was the work of bandits. Hearing this, CIlufer offered his help in revenge. They tracked down the bandits' hideout and fought together for the first time.
