Is It The Biggest Waste of Time?

For youths...

  We have our passion...

      A passion that can lead to our possible future...

                     But.......................?

 

Do you ever think that our beloved hobby or our passion..

             Is the biggest waste of a millisecond of our Godly-given lives!!!!!

              Our art...

                       Singing....

                                 Reading....

        Sports.....

           or even this writing....

                           Could not be used in the time we stepped out college?

             That we will be just a wisp passing by...

   Just passing by that damp street...

That we will just be that bum asking for spare change?

But the weapons are within us...

                         Our mind...

                                And heart...

                                    and a metanoia of light...

          So be what you are....

                       Don't be afraid...

                             Follow the path of your passion...

The world I live in has mostly big business and market, some places like France have art in more of a center point in their culture. Money and Knowledge and a bit of cunning mindset will get a person far in the modern world. I find doing what people want you to as long as you need to to make their needs fulfilled will give you power enough to build your own path without any complainers >.0 Relatable theme in your poem too! an interesting line of thought, one i personally don't have as I believe the path i have chosen was quite frankly meant for me. But this is clearly a very deep thought, one I suppose we all may have at one point or another. Nice work
