There are a lot of way that this can be interpreted. I think what I, personally, took from it is that when all you have is your thoughts in the dark, you tend to over analyze things. Over thinking the simple stuff can really f**k with your head. I tend to dwell on situations that easily be blown out of proportion but it seems like it only ever happens before bed in the silent dark. Good write.
