Castaway

Castaway

A Poem by Dark Poetry

All alone, in an island
A small island, where you can't move
Where there is no water, trees, and sky
There was just complete darkness

Everyday there was a bottle washed up in the darkness
Inside the bottle was a paper
Filled with writings
The writings were emotions

Emotions of sorrow and hatred for me
Keeping me distant from them
Locking me up in this lone island
All alone with darkness

Crying in this island
Their emotions caged up in every bottle
Released to my heart, so I just keep yearning
All this time, being a castaway in this lone island caged & locked inside darkness.

Sounds a bit like a personification of a deep mental state, the imagery sounded a bit familliar and relateable too. It was an interesting read, thanx for writing it :)

Many times we bottle up our emotions and hold them in so tight. Others do not see what is going on within us. We need to vent those emotions somehow in order to be productive in our lives. crying cleanses the soul

The Symbolism and the Imagery is very profound in this piece. You can Feel the loneliness, The Echoes of all the Torture, and You cant depict, that one truly Feels Castaway, when they are social outcasts. Wonderful write and an Excellent Job!
