I'll Be On My WayA Poem by Lighthouse CallA simple acoustic song..
Well I see the bigger picture
The fog has cleared up now I guess I've never been enough And I'll never know how 'Cause you've seen me at my best And you've seen me acting s**t But it doesn't matter now And that's hard to admit So, so long I'll be on my way If our roads shall cross I might even hesitate 'Cause I was drowning in the water But I guess I've learnt to swim I'll just pack my things today And I'll be, well I'll be on my way It's a long road up ahead With twists and turns we haven't met And for all the time I've wasted There are memories I don't get I thought that you were the right one But clearly I was blindly wrong And it sucks 'cause I believed it While you knew it all along So, so long I'll be on my way If our roads shall cross I might even hesitate 'Cause I was drowning in the water But I guess I've learnt to swim I'll just pack my things today And I'll be, well I'll be on my way N' you don't need me anymore You're a big girl now I'm sure whatever comes your way You could do it on your own Guess my work is done around here Now I'm off to chase my dreams 'Cause those are easier to achieve When you've seen this many scenes So, so long I'll be on my way If our roads shall cross I might even hesitate 'Cause I was drowning in the water But I guess I've learnt to swim I'll just pack my things today And I'll be, well I'll be on my way Sincerely yours.
