Titans (In Progress)

Titans (In Progress)

A Poem by Lighthouse Call
"

The lyrics describe an author trying to put himself in the shoes of those unseen/forgotten/misunderstood. Making it through every day is a challenge to these people; the author calls them titans.

"
It's alright baby,
If it's one of those nights
Where you need to cry
Everyone just smiles politely
And walks by

The scars inside you are way too deep
The weight you carry on your feet

Take my hand and we'll switch sides
Our worlds will change but that's the price
I want to be able to understand what you go through
So this is to you

I know I ain't good enough to fit in with your group
I'm just shy there really ain't a thing I can do

They all say that I'm a creep
This loneliness is killing me

They all stare
But they don't see
Whose the man inside of me
As from the corner of my eye I shed a tear
Living with this fear

Lighthouse Call
Inspired from:
"All these men here know they're going to die. So, each night when they make it back, it's a bonus. So, every cup of tea, every cigarette is like a little celebration. You just have to accept that." - Zaitsev (Enemy at the Gates)
