Bite of the Day

Bite of the Day

A Poem by Ligeia
"

"

Why do I fight, flee and fear
the sensations I feel as you draw near?
Your motives appear as sweet as the sun
when you promise to me I'm the only one.

I can't believe a word you say,
I know you lie when you assure me you'll stay.
Midnight begins the reign of the moon
and its rule is a promise, the end is soon.

Interesting !

Well written.
The economy of words is favorable .

This sounds like a love story that
is coming to an end.

Great !
