The SkyA Poem by Queen ApocalypseThis is a poem to kind of illustrate my mood. I hope it is enjoyed!
Her eyes were the sky
A soft blue with delicate clouds outlining it Concealing the pain that swelled behind them Every smooth line was a curve in the sky The emotions never blossomed through The sky staying a pure blue Mystified, people tested the skies calmness Purposely arousing storms yet the sky never cracked Though its unblemished paleness grew dim Turning slowly into a dingy gray as the pain grew It consumed her Begging to be seen To be released Yet she didn't let her sky crack It grew more challenging with each passing day With each step Each word Each blink Until the sky broke Sharply shattering and crippling It coughed out salty distorted tears They oozed and bled from the sky Streaking down Gray Bright clashing thunder erupting with each swollen tear Until there was nothing Nothing but a hollow darkness © 2015 Queen ApocalypseAuthor's Note
