Feeling numb

Feeling numb

A Poem by Pebbles

Delivered with an hour of numbness
I wander round these words
Some verging on insane
Some meraculious discoveries of truth
And some just painful reflections
~And i feel nothing
Drained
I need to hide
Afraid of this person
Sitting silently
Running in circles
She is the one who holds their heads up to the sky
Covers them with blankets of white
So pure and simple her words cleanse
and now she is coming down
Not quite getting what she knows she deserves
A moment right now
Would be enough
A hand
A smile
but there is nothing
But tears and numbness
But dont worry about her
Because no one ever does
She smiles
They know shes happy
They know she is wise
They just know

I life to find clues, to analyze and reveal.
This has me stumped, probably because
I have so little information about the author
and unable to uncover her.

In your words you sing us into that painful place of aching... the angst of living so weary and worn... wanting the smiles...

This is beautiful Pebbles..... delivered softly and painted with a purpose...

a heart covering the scars of a skin....
