Blue jeans and bare feet

If i run really fast
Maybe i'll be able to catch up

So I pull on my blue jeans
Dam the buttons
I button up and look around in a hurry for
Something to slip on my feet

The sand is warm and caresses my feet
The rays of the sun warm my skin
And the wind dances merrily
Reminding me
That to catch up with myself I need to let go

Moving freely
Catching up with self
In my blue jeans
rolled up now
To my knees
And my bare feet
I embrace the sea

hey..you must have spotted me on the beach...cos this could be me...faded jeans, bare feet and hair blowing in the wind is what I love best, what I do to destress from the little or large issues going on down at the time in my mind.
Whilst reading this, I wanted to be carried away in your words and run and run and 'run until my feet no longer run no more' (fave Amy Macdonald song).
