Taste

Taste

A Poem by Pebbles

I will taste your purity
Like a lamb
I will lead you to my slaughter
Yes I will have you
Lick your skin
taste your moments
The ones between the seconds you dismissed
And the anger you conveyed
I beg to differ in my opinion of you
For I am not of human blood
So find it hard to connect
With the wild heart you dance between
The sun is my mother
The moon is not my father for he is the wind
And he couldnt stay a while to watch me grow
So young a spirit within
And yet
You feel so old
Web of corruption hangs freely
About your being
Vampires feast on your
Ruby red blood
Encrusted with desire you becon
To the demons of the night
They smell you and
Know your kind
Lips licked in antisipation
You always were a delight to behold

lol guess who's coming to dinner tonight. The first line " I will taste your purity" is great way to begin this poem. If you read Stoker's Dracula the vampire is a very sexualized being the victims he turned were described as being pure and righteous before becoming his followers. Once he turned them they also became sexualized. It was kinda like he got off corrupting the pure. lol I probably over analyzed that line but I loved it.Cool poem.
