Running from the darkness

Take from the darkness
What you need
Move away
Quickly now
Don't stumple
God please don't look back
Move it
I will count to three
Run you sucker
See that light in front
I said can you see it
Ok well keep f*****g running
Faster
No don't look back
Come on your getting there
The lights getting brighter
Oh s**t i think we can do this
I know your not quite there but

STOP!

'what the hell, you said keep running'


TURN around NOW!

'Don't bloody start now i need to get to the light'

Is this really what you want?

'What do you mean?'

Some people are happy in thier darkness
It's what they understand
In a way they feel safe
Not moving on

'Look the light is scarey, but yes i want it, i need it'

so TURN and  SEE what it is you leave behind

As the man turned and looked behind him
Images of his life were trying to reach out
Wanting him to not let go
Knowing if he went further
They would be lost in the void

Ok are you ready to go forward
or do you want to go back

Turning towards the light
He runs
Not stumbling now
But strong in  knowing
There really is no choise

Sometimes you just got to be brave :)

I just love it. Although I would've preferred the idea of holding on and being brave enough to go back and finish the unfinished, but maybe that's what makes this different.
