Flowers at my feet

Flowers at my feet

A Poem by Pebbles

If I threw flowers at your feet
would you love me

The child  holds daisies in fingers so small
Takes them to Mother
Who makes them into a chain so sweet
That chain
Every link
Reminds me
Of how fragile and sacred love is

One sharp toungue
Pulls her down
One cruel intention
Scar's her soul

All she wanted was the
Chain to stay togeather
Her fragile heart
So pure
In knowing

Mother  misunderstanding
The importance
Chucks the chain to the ground
Fragile existence
With no sound

If i chucked flowers at your feet
would you feel my pain
