HALLOWEEN

happy Halloween, guys!

How do you imagine to be petrified with fear, is it creeping from afar or stalking you from here

Arching black cats hissing on the picket fence, screeching shrilly like a murder of ravens

Lanterns illuminating the pitch black silhouettes on your walls, watch as they break your mentality's walls

Little ghouls and goblins think torture is play; don't let them entangle you or forever you shall stay

Own your shadow walking with you taller than before, tonight it will attack you the second you won't be sure

Witches in disguise will try everything to catch you, goose bumps shiver up your arm when you can't withstand their poison brew.  

Echoes through the night growing louder and louder calling your name, you try your best to claw out of the trench to run away

Evil spirits laugh at your new found fear, don't show it for they can draw very near.

Never let your guard falter or come tumbling down on this one night, for this is the time when all of the creatures like to come out of where they hide

dont worry about punctuation, I'm not putting it in. Oh, also note that a group of ravens is infact called a murder. Happy Halloween, guys. Blood and Kisses to you all!

Pretty cool. I like how you touched on a different creature of Halloween with every different letter. I also thought the rhymes were well done. The line that did it for me was the first L. Good work.

being called a murder of crows (or ravens, same family) is probably why theyre my favorite bird...that and the crow movie was awesome, and Poe's the raven is a masterpiece. as for your poem, definately got me in the mood for Halloween. nice descriptions, and a little chilling. ive been working on a number of acrostics, this one is nicely done. thoroughly enjoyed
