just a little something I thought up

Crave More Than Ordinary

Wouldn't you give a million dollars

To have a taste of real danger?

Aren't you sick of normal

And the same robotic daily routine?

Wouldn't you trade safe for adventure?

The everyday for extraordinary?

Boredom for something a little more hazardous?

Do you need to fight for your right to live?

Do you feel compelled to earn

Every morning you wake up to see?

Don't you want to fly

Or for magic to be real

Or to be a part of something more than yourself?

Don't you want to be able to say

You have friends that have gone to the

Ends of the Earth with you

And you laughed and cried and almost died

On the way there?

Don't you want to be able to say you've

Gone to the depths of Hell

Just to come back stronger than ever?

To crave more than ordinary...

But isn't that just what everyone wants?

just some inquiring question I thought up and questions I could answer "yes" to every one of them. What about you? Do you crave more than ordinary?

I seriously like this poem, which brings out the yolo, because life is not about being ordinary but being someone that lives their life out to their content, but yes I love being different if that helps. Good job!

Very nice! I think there's a name for this kind of poem, where it's all questions. Can't think of it, of course, and I'm not sure how it's relevant to my review. Still, great job!!! I guess I'm just the couch potato who wants to dream and imagines those kind of things... if time permits why not... right?... well I always wish before my life will be just simple and ordinary... yet as i aged it gets complicated......

I love the whole poem could almost be considered rhetorical. It assumes that some would simply say no, but in reality we know that if the opportunity arose we'd accept happily.
