NeverNever WarningA Poem by RachelReaperThis started out being a tribute to my favorite book series, The Iron Fey by Julie kagawa, but it's also against bullyingNeverNever Warning Escape into the NeverNever Never let them see you ever Fear or falter or forever You will be forced to dance Their cold, calculated romance In this court of snow And they will never let you go Afraid you can escape and show Their existence to the world And their timeless reality would swirl And make their chilled blood curl "Eat, drink, and be merry!" They'll say And a game with you they'll play I would suggest you start to pray Whatever they have planned can't be pleasant Though you may be an innocent peasant They may turn you into a pheasant Or deer or dog just for laughs But you must be strong, better than that Don't go along with their game And don't tell them your real name No matter what they do A name can let them control you And every time you had the power to choose Is now taken away from you But don't just take it from me If you ever go there you'll see Their morbid lives and cruelty
I know, because I've been there So I'm responsible to speak out and share.
