Across the WorldA Poem by RachelReaperI wrote this poem because it means something to meAcross the World We'll cross the oceans And next the continents Because I'll always adventure In any weather As long as I have you
Let's scale the Rockies And Mt. McKinley Sail all of the seven seas And we'll like the sights we see
Through the Sahara To the Aurora The lights will dance Above our heads In the snow and sand we'll prance
Go into the city Streetlights so pretty As they illuminate the dark In Grand Central Park
Then we'll sleep in a taxi Driving to Sydney Where we'll pet koala bears And ignore the blatant stares As we sneak one out Of the zoo with care
Off to the Amazon Where we'll have lots of fun Tangled in mosquito nets That leopard may be a threat
And before we go home We'll have one last show Climbing through the snow Up to Mt. Everest
Because we know we must be The best of the very best
